Freeride-nimi kertoo sen, että tämä ohjainrautamalli on kevyt ajaa, mutta se ohjaa hyvin myös pehmeällä reitillä. Ohjarin rungon kyljet on jyrsitty tasaisiksi ohjauspidon parantamiseksi pehmeällä reitillä. Freeridea testattiin C&A suksia käyttävien snowcross- ja endurokuljettajien kanssa ja he ihastuivat heti sen kevyeen ohjattavuuteen.
